OSAKA 2025

Once again this year, we have been proud sponsors of the Italian Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025, where we celebrated the true essence of Made in Italy and Made in Marche.

We have been inspired by the “Ideal City” of Urbino, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a timeless symbol of harmony, proportion, and enduring beauty. For us, it is a guiding reference in creating harmonious, essential, and designed spaces to stand overtime.

Expo has been a unique opportunity to exchange and debate with architects, interior designers, and industry professionals from all around the world. We built new connections, creating a bridges between cultures, and collectively conceive a more conscious way of living, where every detail expresses intention, every form embodies an idea, and every material becomes a quiet promise of lasting beauty.

The Week of Marche at Expo 2025 Osaka

For Floema, it was an intense and meaningful experience, an opportunity to approach the Japanese market and challenge itself within a fascinating cultural context, where values such as harmony, attention to detail, and mutual respect permeate every aspect of daily life.

This journey was made possible thanks to the support of the Marche Region, which strongly promoted the presence of regional excellence in Japan. The organization and coordination of the events in Tokyo and Osaka were handled with great professionalism by ITA – Italian Trade Agency Tokyo, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), and Tipicità, with the passionate guidance of Alberto Monachesi.

A particularly meaningful moment was the workshop held in Osaka, enriched by the presence of the Municipality of Urbino and Councillor Francesco Guazzolini, who brought with him the profound message of the Città Ideale – a symbol of balance, beauty, and lasting value that also inspired our company’s narrative.

We are also deeply grateful to all the speakers and participants who shared ideas and visions with us during the talk: Professor Luca Fois from Politecnico di Milano, Professor Michele Capuani from Accademia di Belle Arti and Design Poliarte, Professor Yuejun Zheng from Doshisha University, Mr. Hideo Miyazaki, manager of Yamaha Corporation, Mr. Cristian Catania, designer and architect from Studio Lombardini 22, and Mr. Simone Micheli, from Simone Micheli Architectural Hero.

It was a stimulating exchange on key topics such as sustainability, conscious design, and the importance of creating products built to last.

We return to Italy with new relationships, fresh inspiration, and the firm conviction that dialogue between cultures is the key to designing the future.
